A school campaign under the PRISTINE initiative by our Bangladesh Innovation Grantee RedOrange, titled “Save the Canals to Save the City,” took place at Nabadiganta Adarsha High School in Mohammadpur, on 18th January 2025, in Dhaka, bringing together students, parents, and teachers to tackle plastic pollution and promote environmental sustainability. The event emphasized the importance of protecting canals and adopting sustainable waste management practices.
Students participated in a drawing session to understand the impact of plastic pollution, pledged to adopt eco-friendly habits, and committed to sharing their learning with their families. Meanwhile, teachers and parents discussed practical strategies to reduce plastic waste and encourage environmental responsibility.
