The Kol-e-Hashmat Khan Wetland Community Council is working closely with Afghanistan Young Greens on the managing of waste in Kol-e-Hashmat Khan Wetland. The Council has been trained and has the capacity to continue the waste management activities. Carts have been provided to councils and a mechanism has been set to regularly remove wastes from wetland area.
