Integrated Solid Waste Management Project funded by UNIDO and the Norwegian Government. This is a four year, $4m project on plastic waste and marine littering. This is under approval from Planning Permission, expected for approval in February 2021, to start from March 2021. This will have four components: firstly, to review and update policies and regulations, secondly to bring innovation to the recycling industry, focus on sensitizing stakeholders (users, importers and manufacturers), and public dissemination. Implementation has different entities responsible for different components: DoE (policy and regulation), Ministry of Local Government and Ministry of Industry.
