The project is aimed to strengthen the collection mechanism of solid waste, promote segregation at source/transfer station, give awareness to general public, utilize youth channels and build capacity of concerned Government Departments. The project also aims to promote the public private partnership to ensure sustainability of the project which will include a circular economy model. The project foresee Technology promotion through the installation of a Plastic recycling facility in Islamabad via public-private partnership.
