ISP Environmental Solutions is proud to announce the successful inauguration of its state-of-the-art ECO Bricks Facility, held on July 28th, 2025, in Lahore, Pakistan. The facility tackles plastic pollution head-on, reduces reliance on polluting brick kilns, and champions a circular economy. Crucially, it also fosters socio-economic development, creating jobs and providing skill-based training – empowering communities while protecting our planet. This landmark achievement marks a major milestone in their ongoing commitment to sustainable innovation and environmental protection.

The event was honored by the presence of the Honourable State Minister for Climate Change, Dr. Shezra Mansab, who officiated the facility’s formal inauguration. In her address, she wholeheartedly endorsed the initiative, hailing it as a progressive step under the PLEASE project aimed at mitigating plastic waste and advancing environmental sustainability in Pakistan.

Developed under the PLEASE Project – Plastic Free Rivers and Seas for South Asia, an initiative implemented by the South Asia Co-operative Environment Programme (SACEP) and supported by The World Bank with implementation support from UNOPS, the ECO Bricks Facility is a powerful testament to ISP’s dedication to improving plastic waste management in Pakistan and the broader South Asian region.

The event was also honored with the presence of Ms. Sana Ahmed (Senior Environmentalist), Ms, Mahwish Bukhari (Technical Consultant) from World Bank and Mr. Nauman Zakariya (Programme Manager) from UNOPS. The event also welcomed leading industrialists, academicians, and professionals from across sectors, all united in the mission of environmental sustainability. This facility represents more than infrastructure—it’s a bold stride toward circular economy practices and a cleaner, greener future.
