As part of the PLEASE project, Creasion Nepal was awarded a Regional Competitive Block Grant (RBG) to implement sustainable solutions to reduce plastic pollution in Nepal.
Creasion Nepal focuses on developing a collaborative model for plastic waste management, aiming to divert plastic waste from rivers and landfills to the product value chain. They plan to achieve this by engaging marginalised community members, informal waste workers (IWWs), and youth groups in an integrated plastic collection model.
Established in 2005, Creasion is a not-for-profit organisation based in Nepal. They work in areas like environment, sustainability, and emergency disaster response, aiming to achieve a circular economy by reducing plastic consumption through policy, innovation, and expanding recycling networks.
