Doko Recyclers Private Limited from Nepal was awarded an Innovation Grant (IG) to implement the project “Reclaiming the Value of Plastic Waste through a Plastic Recovery Facility (PRF)”
The project will address the three thematic areas, Avoid, Intercept, and Redesign, with a primary focus on Intercept, followed by Avoid, while also aiming to develop a supply network to support third-party Redesign efforts. The project will focus on intercepting both recyclable and non-recyclable plastics to prevent them from entering the environment, separating them from other recyclable materials, and conserving raw resources. The project will also support the redesign of plastic waste into new products, fostering circular and local economic activity and innovation.
