In order to address this mounting issue of plastic waste, the project began by raising awareness with the school students from the government school. Afterwards, GFF Representatives in Nepal, Sulochana Thapa and Shona Warren focused on working with students to create ‘EcoBricks’ by filling disused plastic bottles with plastic rubbish. Once full, these colorful ‘EcoBricks’ made from waste that would otherwise end up in the street, were used to build benches, flowerbeds, and walls in the school.
