On 14th August, ISP Environmental Solutions marked Pakistan’s Independence Day with more than just celebrations — they took meaningful action for the environment. The first Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) was inaugurated at the University of Central Punjab, symbolizing a powerful step toward a cleaner, greener Pakistan. This milestone is part of the PLEASE Project, implemented by the South Asia Co-operative Environment Programme (SACEP), supported by The World Bank, with implementation support from UNOPS, and executed in Pakistan by ISP Environmental Solutions in partnership with Entertech Group of Companies.

RVMs are revolutionizing recycling by making it simple, rewarding, and impactful. They allow users to turn used plastic bottles into reward points, keeping waste out of landfills and oceans while fueling a circular economy. Under the Punjab Green Credit Program, citizens can now receive Rs. 1000 for every 1 kg of plastic bottles returned—making responsible plastic disposal both environmentally beneficial and financially rewarding. ISP extends its heartfelt thanks to their collaborators, Takhleeq Problem Solving Institute and Environment Protection Society, for their vital role in achieving this milestone.
